Sliding Scale: CVD will provide a sliding scale pricing system based on household income to assist patients who face financial challenges to obtaining medical cannabis products. The sliding scale will offer discounts of 10-20% on dried flower and 3-7% on infused products. CVD will determine eligibility using a scale based on the federal poverty guidelines (this will be adjusted annually based on the federal government’s determination of poverty levels). Patients must complete a Financial Assistance Application provided by CVD in order to qualify. In addition, CVD will employ a policy allowing its Board to consider larger discounts, including donated product, to patients that demonstrate greater financial hardship. Any patient wishing to be given special consideration, must first complete the Financial Assistance Application. Upon receipt of a determination of sliding scale benefits from CVD, the patient must submit this determination along with a letter addressed to the Executive Director detailing the reasons for consideration of greater benefit.
All veterans will receive a 15% discount on both dried flowers and infused products. Patient qualification will be via proof of veteran status, if applicable, i.e. a copy of their DD 214, along with other state or federal issued photo identification.
